We are redoing a room in our house and the theme is our families’ histories. So much of this memorabilia remains in boxes or drawers and I feel it would be lovely to honour our parents’ achievements by allowing us and others to see these lovely things every day. Today I am sorting the medals for a shadow table.  My father, Ken Nicolson, was a flying instructor in WWII and we have his original flying log books. He flew dozens of different planes during his flying career. How lucky that he kept all these things safe so we can appreciate them today!
