On our recent trip to Botswana, on our game drives, we stopped to pick grasses so we could identify them back at camp. We had no idea there were so many different types of grasses and all so pretty in their own ways. Even the guides found some they did not know the names of.

Back at home we have been inspired to go out into the veld here in the Drakensberg and pick as many different varieties as we can find and then bring them home to identify them. Luckily they are all in flower now.

One day I would like to press them in a flower press and then frame them individually to fill an entire wall.
